10 WWE Ruthless Aggression WrestleMania Matches That Should Have Happened
6. John Cena Vs. Kurt Angle (WrestleMania XX & 21)

Kurt Angle was the ultimate performer, who could be trusted with any role or storyline WWE wanted to use him in.
His ‘Mania XX and 21 matches against Eddie Guerrero and Shawn Michaels respectively were iconic, without question. However, Angle, such was his value, could have been used in so many other ways, in this sense to make a huge star out of John Cena.
As The Doctor Of Thuganomics, Cena was fast becoming the most popular superstar in the company, and it was clear he was being fast-tracked to the top.
If Angle’s ‘Mania 20 opponent Guerrero were to face Chris Benoit, he could instead be used to put over Cena for the United States Championship. This contest has "steal the show" potential written all over it, and would make a fascinating story for Cena, aiming to capture his first title from the man he famously debuted against.
Fast forward to ‘Mania 21, John Cena defeated JBL in a lukewarm match to win the WWE Title. If it were against Angle as champion, a year-long storyline between SmackDown’s two biggest stars, would reach an illustrious conclusion and begin Cena’s epic reign properly.
