John Cena and The Undertaker's WrestleMania 34 squash was a humongous letdown, disappointing fans not because of what it was, but because of what it wasn’t.

The Undertaker and John Cena are transcendent stars who defined multiple generations and have both unquestionably earnt their place on the Mt. Rushmore of WWE. The fact that they never clashed on The Grandest Stage Of Them All is a travesty.

The stars just never aligned for both men at 'Mania, which is a shame. On the few occasions they did battle, it was a hot affair because everyone knew they were witnessing two icons of the industry face off. There were few bigger fight feels WWE could book compared to placing Cena and ‘Taker against each other.

Furthermore, the segment in which The Deadman as the Royal Rumble winner declared Batista as the champion he would challenge at ‘Mania was the best of its kind. But imagine if ‘Taker stepped to Cena instead. The anticipation for this clash would have been unworldly.

The Streak vs Cena’s championship.

How did WWE miss this boat so many times?
