10 WWE Spin-Offs That Deserve A Reboot
2. Swerved
On the face of it, a WWE series where wrestlers are routinely made to look like fools doesn't sound much different to what we see on any random episode of Monday Night Raw.
However, throw in Jackass director Jeff Tremaine, and a pranktastic show called Swerved was soon brilliantly brought to our screens in 2015. Xavier Woods' prank war with Kofi Kingston and Big Show becoming a bronze statue, both stand out as moments that warranted the show's existence in the first place.
With so much time spent on the road, the show also gave the talent a welcome injection of fun into their monotonous travelling grind and it made for some fairly engaging scenarios.
Then, as soon as the show looked to be gathering some momentum, WWE did what they always do and clipped its wings just as it started to take flight in 2016 - a Titus O'Neil prank gone wrong probably didn't help the show's cause either.
With WWE dedicating so much time to backstage and off-air social media moments, surely a few more organised pranks and juvenile set-pieces would add a layer of much needed levity to proceedings - provided nobody gets hurt or sued.
