10 WWE Stars Already Having A Terrible 2018

2. Rich Swann

Back in 2016, Rich Swann was one of the most lively characters WWE introduced as part of the new Cruiserweight division. The ever-smiling, always-dancing babyface had clear charisma, and he was rewarded with a run as Cruiser Champ because of that bubbly on screen personality. He even teamed with Sasha Banks on pay-per-view in 2017.

2018 couldn't be more different.

Swann was arrested on 10 December 2017 and taken into custody in Gainesville, Florida on charges of battery and kidnapping/false imprisonment. That means he'll be a lucky boy to call himself a WWE Superstar come the end of this year. WWE may feel it's best to cut their losses and distance themselves from Swann's private life scandal.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H did say WWE would stand by Swann until he was proven guilty earlier this month. The Swann household can't be a happy one though, and it seems only a matter of time before Rich is out on his ear and back on the indy market.
