10 WWE Stars And Their Biblical Counterparts

1. The Undertaker = Job

It would€™ve been very easy for me to suggest that the Undertaker is a combination of most of the entries already mentioned on this list. After all, he has been a messianic prophet, a great adversary, had a war with his brother, and kept defeating large numbers of enemies. But instead of all that, the Biblical character that best compares to the Undertaker is Job. Job was God€™s favorite person because of his loyalty to Him. He was a good and righteous person who was blessed with great success in life and enjoyed the admiration of his friends and townsfolk. But Satan told God that Job€™s loyalty was only due to the gifts he had, and so God proved Satan otherwise by punishing Job with countless tragedies and unending suffering. Yet despite losing virtually everything, Job remained faithful to God. This story has many parallels to the Undertaker€™s WWE career. He was, and still is, Vince€™s favorite creation, which allows him to enjoy special booking and other benefits not afforded any other WWE star. He€™s a good and righteous person, in that he looks out for his fellow wrestlers, acts as a locker room leader, offers help to anyone willing to listen, and is so well-respected and venerated by his current and former peers. He has also been through many roadblocks in his career, both kayfabe and real-life, many of which were put in place by Vince himself. But despite all the challenges put before him, the Undertaker remained loyal to Vince and WWE, which is the justification for his constant returns to in-ring action to this very day.
