10 WWE Stars In Danger Of Getting Lost In The Shuffle
1. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler’s WWE journey has been one of near misses: every time he seems set to have his breakout moment something goes wrong, or the company pulls the plug.
You have to ask the question now, is it all too late?
In the last year, Dolph has felt increasingly stale. His character - which seems to be channeling the bloke that was thrown out of Mötley Crüe for being too cheesy – has ground to a stop.
He can still go out there and put on matches with the very best, but they don’t mean anything. He’s just lost one too many.
Which doesn’t mean Dolph can’t be fixed, but this new influx of talent moves directly into his spot. He’s no longer the most athletic guy on the roster. When you’ve got Apollo Crews and Sami Zayn doing their thing, Dolph begins to look a bit redundant.
It’s hard to see WWE ditching Dolph Ziggler. He’s too good for that. But with new talent and even more stars chomping at the bit down in NXT, it is looking more and more likely that his chance to make it at the top of the card is long gone.
