10 WWE Stars In Desperate Need Of A Turn
6. Bray Wyatt
Not even the kids who dress up like Cena are afraid of Bray Wyatt.
This isn't Wyatt's fault, necessarily. As awesome an update as it is of the supernatural gimmicks of wrestling lore, it is too anachronistic to work (in its current incarnation) within the context of the 21st century. It's only just possible for a heel to be loathed. For them to be feared is unimaginable - and that's without taking into account the lacklustre booking treatment he's been subject to since his main roster debut.
How can you spread fear when you can barely win a wrestling match?
That's not to say Wyatt should revert back to his Husky Harris days - with a bit of re-tooling, his act would be dynamic in the face role. The Family would have to break up - for real this time. He can't be seen to be taking shortcuts or relying on interference. He could also turn face without too much in the way of contrivance.
He already rejects materialism and false idols - his turning face therefore wouldn't be incongruous. Moreover, fans have long been ready to accept him as the saviour he has always professed to be. They reacted very favourably to him before his unfortunately-retconned post-'Mania face turn.
