10 WWE Stars In Vince McMahon's Doghouse Right Now

5. Tyler Bate

Reports surfaced earlier this year that Tyler Bate had fallen afoul of management, which explains why he suns himself on the beach more than he wrestles in a WWE ring. That was the gossip, anyway; asked to join a main roster tour mere months after winning the inaugural United Kingdom Championship tournament, he refused. He had other plans. This infuriated officials, and rightfully so; unlike his fellow tournament competitors signed largely to gut the emerging competition of the BritWres scene, WWE had plans for the ultra-talented and very over Bate, whose astonishing youth alone was a marketable characteristic.

Unfortunately, with youth comes inexperience, hence why he bantered WWE off to go on a lad's holiday.

The need to pad out the imminent weekly NXT UK show should see Bate emerge from the wilderness and into the margins of WWE, but where a main roster run for Pete Dunne is a genuine proposition, Bate seems destined to remain "localised".

And, if and when he is ever entrusted with a main roster push, he will no longer be that 19 year-old prodigy again.
