10 WWE Stars In Vince McMahon's Doghouse Right Now

6. The Revival

The Revival were destined to become ironically-named victims of the WWE machine. In effect, they were in Vince McMahon's doghouse the very second Dash Wilder slapped Scott Dawson's back by virtue of being a tag team.

JBL once said - well, he said it all the time, but you get the idea - that, if you were to build a WWE Superstar from the ground up, Randy Orton would materialise in front of you. If you were to build a doghouse, wooden plank by wooden plank, you would see the hangdog expressions of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson caught behind it, whining for a morsel of affection.

They are a tag team, something Vince is fundamentally disinterested in. They boast impressive, burly physiques McMahon associates with the old-timey wrasslin' philosophy he sought to make extinct, and did. They are self-confessedly in thrall to wrestling, another McMahon no-no. And, worse than even super-fan collector Zack Ryder, they are in thrall to the wrong kind of wrestling...

..all of which explains The Revival's depiction on RAW as hapless, outwitted jokes.

Their retaliatory social media presence and unlucky injury records hardly help their case, either.
