10 WWE Stars Set To Be “Future Endeavored” In 2015
4. Titus O'Neil
Similar to Johnny Curtis, Titus O'Neil has been under contract to WWE a lot longer than you might think. He signed with WWE in 2009 before debuting on the second season of NXT in 2010. He was a regular on NXT (before it became WWE's developmental territory) through 2012 when he and Darren Young formed The Prime Time Players and moved to SmackDown. The two had a fun run in the tag team division before parting ways at the start of 2014. Many believed O'Neil was in line for a big singles push following the split, but he's been floundering all year. O'Neil has shown time and time again he has the charisma of a top-tier talent, but WWE has failed in using him the right way. He's no Shawn Michaels in the ring, but he deserves much better than Thursday night's WWE Superstars. It's been long enough since he broke off on his own that it's clear WWE has no plans for him whatsoever. It's mind boggling to think they can't find a place for him at a time where the roster depth is at an all-time low. An alliance with Heath Slater likely won't save him from getting released in the new year.
