Interesting that there was a time where Ted DiBiase was considered a safer bet for a breakout star from Legacy than Rhodes was.

The group crumbled after DiBiase and Rhodes' WrestleMania falling out, and Rhodes was sent to Smackdown a month later. While DiBiase struggled with his "I'm the son of the Million Dollar Man" gimmick, Rhodes slowly began to forge his own identity with something less derivative.

Becoming "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, the youngest Legacy member displayed potential in his over-the-top narcissism. After a bit where Rey Mysterio injured his face in early-2011, Rhodes broke out further with a take on Patrick Bateman-esque hypervanity, angrily railing on the physical shortcomings of others. By this point, Rhodes had lapped DiBiase several times over.
