10 WWE Stars To Take Seth Rollins' Place In The Authority
2. Roman Reigns
There have been a lot of conflicting rumours from the dirt sheets since Seth Rollins was taken out with his injury, but most seem to agree that the plan was, and still is, for Roman Reigns to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Survivor Series. While that's likely to result in complaints from many fans, a title run is long overdue for the Samoan Superstar, and he deserves a chance to sink or swim in that role. However, rather than forcing a still very divisive babyface Roman down the throats of the WWE Universe, it would be much smarter for them to turn him heel by winning the title by nefarious means in that tournament, and preferably against Dean Ambrose. While he's slowly regaining some of his lost popularity, it's fair to say that the babyface Roman Reigns experiment has been a dismal failure, and putting him next to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon every Monday to do the talking for him is sure to get him over as a top heel more than his questionable good guy promos ever will. Roman was always better as a heel wrecking force, and while him aligning with The Authority may seem out of character, it's something he might just be willing to do if it means he finally gets the title he's been robbed of for so long. Roman is someone who really has the opportunity to benefit from being made part of this heel faction in the place of Rollins, and it should lead to some entertaining television (which is obviously a plus).
