10 WWE Stars To Take Seth Rollins' Place In The Authority
3. The Undertaker
With John Cena taking time off, Brock Lesnar back on break, and both Randy Orton and Seth Rollins out with injuries until long past next year's WrestleMania, one thing the WWE is definitely short on right now is star power. With The Undertaker's abilities now in the hands of Bray Wyatt, what if the Deadman returns not to reclaim that, but in a completely different Corporate Kane like persona? This wouldn't be all that different to his popular American Badass phase, and a powerless Undertaker becoming part of The Authority has a lot of potential if the story is told in the right way. With his career clearly winding down, a role such as this one would obviously require a greater number of appearances on WWE programming moving forward, but if this is his last run, then more of him would be no bad thing. Throw in recent rumours that next year's WrestleMania is set to finally pit The Undertaker vs. John Cena and this starts making even more sense. If the Phenom were to get his hands on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and hold onto it until next year's Mania, that actually sets the stage perfectly for Cena to face him at the event and pick up his sixteenth world title run to tie with Ric Flair. That's not a booking decision which would be overly popular with a lot of fans, but it is the kind of huge moment you can easily picture going down at what's set to be the biggest WrestleMania of all-time in Dallas.
