6. Rusev

Remember when Rusev was one of the most watchable heel performers on the WWE roster? Before the company - in their infinite wisdom - decided to split him from Lana (a real heat-seeker for the guy), he was on course to crash the main event scene as a villain.

That is, remarkably, still possible.

The Summer of 2015 is one Rusev would probably like to forget since it was a dreadful time for him. Shunted into a woeful 'Love Triangle' storyline with Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae, he suddenly went from intimidating heel to one of the most boring characters in the promotion.

That was WWE's fault, not Rusev's. Following his time in the League Of Nations, he is now back where he belongs, by Lana's side. The potential is there to turn the 'Bulgarian Brute' into something special, he has shown he can survive even the worst booking decisions and come out intact on the other end.

WWE's next move with Rusev is crucial, he's too good a talent to let fester in meaningless nonsense in the middle of the card.
