9. Cesaro

Is playing:

A heel who, per the informed and bemused words of Arn Anderson, was "leaned on to stop doing that stuff as a heel, it was too flashy". By that stuff, Arn is referring to the shotgun bullet speed and balletic grace with which Cesaro is capable of exploding around the ring to either strike or scythe down his opponents. Instead, and he's still very good at it, he's a nondescript bully heel who is never not fun to watch, until you recall and wince at the fact that the over-produced and over-scripted wrestling company that tells the man how not to perform markets him as an "artist".

Should be playing:

Cesaro isn't Top WWE Guy material; it's mental to position him in that role having watched more than one WWE TV show. He isn't the best talker. He doesn't exude a megastar aura.

But for f*ck's sake, and it doesn't take much - you can even stop the pissants complaining if you do this - encourage the guy to go ballistic, because the byproduct of which is often the mythical "banger". But then you remember that the company with an official corporate policy of "putting smiles on people's faces" won't give the nerds their candies.
