On the December 18, 2018 SmackDown, 24 hours removed from promised, sweeping changes, SAnitY were handed a lifeline. After disappearing for months, the faction assaulted the Club and the Usos, as they sought to exploit the opportunity of change.

And then, they simply disappeared again, furthering their status as memes.

On the March 26, 2019 SmackDown, we witnessed the most drastic but unheralded NXT/main roster contrast. In the first WarGames match, Killian Dain was framed as a mass murderer in a superb starring role. In swallowing the key to the cage, he set out his character's utterly badass mission statement. He didn't want to win; he wanted to kill.

Meanwhile, on SmackDown, he was literally interchangeable with the novices WWE pays to dress up as security. He took a pasting from The Miz (!). The 12 or so men surrounding him (!) proved to be no help. A complete afterthought, he wasn't even ordered to wear the t-shirt or singlet WWE made him don last year out of toxic malice. It's no wonder Dain took to Twitter in January in an attempt to get #WHEREISSANITY trending. Associate Alexander Wolfe quote-tweeted "Sick of this," which appeared to arouse Vince's sense of spite.

"So you wanna be on TV, huh pal?"
