WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Seth Rollins

Shocked to see this guy here? Don't be.

Look, Seth Rollins doesn't need to change everything about his gimmick after WrestleMania 40, but he does need to get back to basics a wee bit. The flashy outfits and obnoxious laughter are all well and good, but there's a hard-nosed babyface warrior hiding beneath all that pizzazz.

Rollins is capable of cutting excellent, realistic and gritty promos when given the chance. He doesn't need to over-rely on fans singing his theme song over and over, or on 'Macho Man'-esque flash. Sure, Seth can still exhibit some style, but he defo doesn't want to relive nightmares of 2019 when babyface goodwill evaporated fast.

A quick look at the 'Mania press event in Las Vegas reveals that poor Seth was fourth wheeling hard behind Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and The Rock. He's like a walking cartoon next to those guys these days, and that won't do.

Guy's too talented and has worked too hard to be settling for this. Hit the change button!
