In late 2009, Randy Orton and his merry men helped turn Kofi Kingston - who spent the early part of his WWE run sporting a disposition so sunny that even Teddy Long asked him to dial it down a little (probably) - into an intense, revenge-seeking dare-devil. For a couple of weeks, anyway.

It's difficult to put your finger on exactly why WWE put the brakes on Kofi's red hot push, particularly when the fans were so obviously behind the 'The Jamaican Sensation', and that it came at a time when many of his contemporaries - Sheamus, Del Rio, Swagger et al - were given a leg up so early in their respective runs.

Alas, Kofi's career high remains, to this day, his pulsating Raw run-in with Orton, and he now seems destined to see out the rest of his career as part of a tag team (albeit an extremely successful one).
