10 WWE Stars Who BURIED The Writers

9. The Big Show

Moxley Bryan
WWE

Moxley wasn't the first associated WWE performer to use Talk Is Jericho as a forum on which to crucify WWE's creative process.

In 2017, while still performing on television sporadically, Show revealed that the talents hate the micro-managed, scripted bullsh*t just as much as you. In fact, Big Show hated TV days - "long, useless, time-wastin’, bullsh*t days where you sit around all day for some freakin’ idea that absolutely sucks" - quite a bit. He wanted to bash himself in the head with a hammer, and again, if he had actually requested to do this live on air...

That is talents, plural; pointedly, Show also remarked that "We all have that look at TV. We walk on baffled, going, well why are we doing this?"

Show had reason to express his contempt for the process; a schizophrenic, incontinent, tearful, wise-cracking giant - when he wasn't finally the giant he was always supposed to be...every now and then, when the storyline demanded an umpteenth uninspiring John Cena programme - his character arc was so inconsistent that he became not the next André The Giant, but a living meme.

Show was justified in this outburst, and since had an ironclad contract dating back to 2012, it wasn't as if WWE could release him - though WWE did threaten his...secured job security in 2013, when the Authority demanded he knock out Daniel Bryan and Dusty Rhodes to save it.

Meticulous plotting. Ironclad.
