10 WWE Stars Who BURIED The Writers

CM Punk quite literally tore the creative process to shreds on his Best In The World BioDVD.

Speaking on the process that is somehow prevalent despite literally everybody except WWE management knowing it is a terrible and unworkable idea that betrays and ruins everything, Punk revealed that he was once handed a scripted promo, only to tear it up in front of the poor sap who had written it.

And why wouldn't he?

Punk was an incendiary, caustic promo, among the very best of his generation. A reminder, here, that he was originally slated to become the first ever deaf wrestler. Moreover, for the benefit of those who hadn't paid money to buy a physical copy of the DVD, a helpful Punk made certain to bury WWE's flagship in the early years of RAW's three-hour era. He referred to it, in the middle of that very ring, as "dismal". He always was prescient.

He was always pissed off, too, and he was at his most pissed off throughout his legendarily controversial 2014 Art Of Wrestling podcast appearance, during which he detonated another Pipebomb.

"There's 26 f*cking writers and you don't know who they are and they've never been in a real fight in their life."

Punk of course went on to lose real fights in humiliating fashion, but still. He could cut a promo on his own.
