10 WWE Stars Who HATED Their Own WrestleMania Matches

6. Dean Ambrose & Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 32)

Current AEW star Jon Moxley probs looks back on this bout with more disdain than Brock, but both men visibly disliked what they were doing in-ring at 'Mania 32. Their 'No Holds Barred Street Fight' was fairly tame, at least compared to Mox's later AEW fare, but there's a reason for that.

Lesnar said 'f*ck no' to some of the wild stuff the then-Dean Ambrose wanted to do. 'The Beast' wasn't the only one questioning Deano's hardcore leanings - Paul Heyman (of all people) has criticised his approach to the match, and remarked that Brock didn't have much fun working with Ambrose.

Bummer.

So, a disinterested Lesnar and a frustrated Ambrose. That doesn't make for the best combination, and it's easy to see how disjointed the brawl is when revisiting it today. Being honest, Dean came across as a scrappy wannabe who couldn't hang with Brock; not quite the WWE Champ he'd be later that year.
