10 WWE Stars Who HATED Their Own WrestleMania Matches

3. Kurt Angle (WrestleMania 35)

Legendary Olympian-turned-WWE icon Kurt Angle has been very kind to Baron Corbin when discussing his final match at WrestleMania 35. Angle, to his credit, refuses to throw Corbin under the bus or blame him for one of the worst WWE retirement scenarios ever.

Seriously, it was p*ss poor and just shouldn't have happened.

Kurt had gritted his teeth and performed miracles vs. Brock Lesnar at 'Mania XIX. He defied a broken (freakin') neck to produce a worthwhile main event, and did so because he's one of the hardest bastards who ever lived. 16 years later, he looked like one of the saddest to ever pull on a pair of boots.

WWE should be disgusted with themselves for treating Angle this poorly. His send-off should've been huge, but it was buried in one of the least-important spots on the show in 2019, and outright failed to retire Kurt with any dignity.

Hopefully, someday, he roasts the company for this.
