10 WWE Stars Who HATED Their Own WrestleMania Matches

2. Steve Austin Again (WrestleMania XIV)

This one is a bit surprising.

'Stone Cold' recently revealed that he "hated" his timeless 'Mania XIV win over Shawn Michaels as soon as it finished back in 1998. The new WWF Champ thought the bout was a '2 out of 5' at best, and even told Vince McMahon it was "the sh*ts" as soon as he stepped foot through the curtain afterwards.

Austin does admit that being out there with Mike Tyson was cool, but he was left totally disappointed by the actual match itself. HBK was nursing a serious back injury at the time, and he struggled to perform at his "Mr. WrestleMania" best on the night.

Winning the belt ruled, but Steve doesn't like rewatching the stuff bell-to-bell from 'Mania XIV. That's incredible, especially considering it was a minor miracle that Shawn was even able to work at all and the milestone it was for Austin's pro wrestling career.

"The sh*ts"!
