10 WWE Stars Who Have Completely Changed Since Their Debuts

7. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre
WWE

Debut: 2007 in FCW, then 2009 as a full-timer on the main roster. Departed in 2014, but returned to NXT in 2016 before again being promoted to the bigger shows.

How He's Changed: 2018's Drew McIntyre looks like he'd slap 2009's Drew McIntyre around for fun, then chastise him for not working hard enough. Truthfully, the Scot always put a shift in (that's how he reached WWE in the first place), but he wasn't quite prepared to take on the world in '09.

First, he needed time to find himself, reflect and grow into a hulking beast of a man who also doubled as a wrestling machine.

In retrospect, his 2014 release from WWE did Drew the world of good. Travelling the world as a proud workhorse, he bulked up, grew out some facial hair and stopped relying on modelesque looks to gain heat from fans. McIntyre isn't just a different man physically, he's on a whole new level mentally.
