8. Mace

Mace's shift to SmackDown in the 2021 Draft was a colossal waste of time.

Since moving shows, the former Raw announcer's only televised match has been as part of an 18-man Battle Royal to crown a new contender for Roman Reigns' Universal Title. That aired on the 26 November edition. Yes, Mace hasn't wrestled since last November.

He didn't pop up on any house shows the promotion put on over the festive period, and there have been no hints dropped about a new role in 2022. Man, that whole Retribution experiment was a bust, wasn't it? It outright failed to get even one member over, which is actually kinda special.

This is worth repeating: Mace will presumably reunite with T-Bar on TV at some point. He'll be moved back to Mondays, or his old pal will make the journey to FOX so they can beat up some jobbers before disappearing for another stretch. Rinse and repeat.
