10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

4. Jason Jordan

There's been no closure on the Jason Jordan saga at all.

Though fans groaned when he was unveiled as Kurt Angle's storyline son in 2017, it did look like a major push was on the way for someone with athleticism, talent and clear potential. Serious, career-altering neck injuries put paid to that, and everyone is still waiting for some sort of explanation from the man himself.

WWE haven't bothered to tie up this loose end at all. Instead, reports surfaced in The Wrestling Observer last September that Jordan had been hired in a backstage producer role. His in-ring career looks over, and there's no place for him as a non-wrestling on screen character either, apparently. It's unclear why not.

Jordan was decent on the mic, has a good look and would be ideal to fill the role of authority figure WWE love so much. Perhaps he's excelling as a producer to the point that WWE don't feel a TV comeback is necessary. Maybe not, but it'd be nice if they formally acknowledged the situation and told viewers where he was.
