10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

3. Asuka & Kairi Sane

WWE's female tag-team division is in tatters, and so is Asuka's career in the company.

Things are so bad that the Japanese super-worker has taken to joking on social media about her standing around the place. According to the 2018 Royal Rumble winner, she's more of a YouTuber now than a pro wrestler. This leaves poor Kairi Sane in a serious state of uncertainty.

Paige's proud announcement that Sane and Asuka would now be known as the 'Kabuki Warriors' on the 16 April SmackDown may as well have never happened. They've failed to make a dent in the new tag scene, and they're barely ever on television to try. This is a disgraceful misuse of talent from WWE.

The Warriors' last TV match came on the 12 August Raw when they lost a title match to Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Since then, they've been dark match regulars and have been beating Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville up and down the country on live events. Figure that one out if you can.
