9. The Miz

The Miz has garnered far more success than anyone ever expected him to in his time with WWE. Starting out as the host of the Diva Search competition in 2006, Miz slowly ascended the card, going from a tag team competitor to a mainstay in the midcard to finally becoming a main event player in 2010. But what made Miz stand out above all the rest were his exceptional mic skills. He's always made any role he's been given entertaining, but it's unfortunately never really translated all that well over to acting. Originally scheduled for the lead role in "The Marine 3" was Randy Orton, but due to his controversial background, he was pulled from the film. Rumors ran rampant as to who would replace him. Kofi Kingston? John Cena, the original marine? JTG, perhaps? No, The Miz. He actually fared pretty well in the movie, but his acting skills weren't the problem; it was his believability. Fans were so used to seeing him as the annoying loud mouth to take him seriously as the fearless hero. The same can be said for his role as the bad boy Mike in ABC Family's "Christmas Bounty" special. It's just not who he is. Despite it all, Miz will reprise his role as Jake Carter in "The Marine 4", due out for 2015 release.
