10 WWE Stars Who Made Terrible Actors

5. John Morrison

John Morrison Actor John Morrison was one of those guys in WWE that you always waited for to make it big. He had all the in-ring talent to become a world champion, but his biggest setback was his blatant lack of mic skills. The Miz did most of the talking for Morrison during their pairing from 2007 to 2009 and turning babyface shortly thereafter meant he wouldn't have to do much promo work. But his ultimate demise was that he failed to up his game on the mic. He unfortunately never got beyond a certain level in WWE and his lack of ability to cut a decent promo was a key factor in that. The gift of gab plays as big of a role in acting as it does in wrestling. Morrison left WWE when his contract expired in November 2011 to pursue a career in actin and better his talking ability. Based off his recent work in Lucha Underground, he has somewhat improved in the promo department, but not by much. He's starred in several independent films over the years including "20 Feet Below: The Darkness Descending" and "Tournament of Nerds." He portrayed Hercules in "Hercules Reborn" earlier this year, and while he wasn't too shabby, he didn't come close to nailing the part as good as The Rock did that same summer. Then again, there's also comparison when it comes to their respective mic skills, either.
