Someday, Cain Velasquez' brief WWE career will be the answer to a trivia question.

"Which former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion only wrestled one televised match in WWE?". The answer is, of course, 'Cardio' Cain. After showing up as Rey Mysterio's muscle during the masked icon's feud with Brock Lesnar late-last year, Velasquez was soundly thumped by Brock in a WWE Title match at Crown Jewel.

That Saudi Arabian defeat proved to be Cain's only match of any note in the company. He also worked a tag-team match on the 30 November 2019 house show in Mexico City (with Humberto Carrillo against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), but he never worked another TV bout before reportedly being released from contract.

Cain might be the only guy in history to debut amongst so much fanfare, wrestle his first match for the WWE Title and then shuffle out of the promotional sphere without so much as a goodbye. His short stay in WWE was panic booking (they wanted something newsworthy for SmackDown's FOX debut) 101.
