Sheamus appeared on Miz TV during a recent episode of RAW to explain that yes, he and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre really are actual, real-life, good friends.

Sorry dude, but if Drew really was your friend, he would never have let you go on television in front of a million-plus people wearing that hat.

Sheamus has had some iconic looks over the years, with some working better than others. The mohawk and mirrored shades he sported as a member of The Bar were definitely cooler than the phase when he had all that dangly crap hanging from his beard, but it's hard to tell exactly what he's going for during his current run. He's in amazing shape, but it's hard to aesthetically capitalize on your tremendous physique when you're dressed like an old-timey dock worker.

With some adjustments, it could work. The sleeveless undershirt, suspenders, and taped-up fists that he sported during his bar fight with Jeff Hardy made him look like a nails-tough brawler from the turn of the last century, but the effect is ruined when he walks out on RAW wearing a coat and hat that would be rejected by a charity shop donation bin. Maybe something similarly old-fashioned but a little more dapper would be effective, and make him look less like a bum. The important thing is to keep trying. Don't give up, Sheamus. We believe in you.
