Oh you didn't know? Your posterior better contact someone at once. Yes, the man behind one of the most iconic introductions in World Wrestling Entertainment history did himself some time in the military too. Road Dogg Jesse James comes from a wrestling family, his father was 'Bullet' Bob Armstrong and his brothers Scott, Brad and Steve have also forged careers in the pro graps industry.

Road Dogg put his career on hold initially however in order to join the United States Marine Corps in 1987. the D-O-Double G would return to wrestle in between tours of duty. James returned to wrestling full time in 1993.

James was actually active in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, where he acted as a platoon sergeant in command of 33 marines. He currently works for WWE as a producer, which I would guess is a fairly similar position.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
