In the midst of Daniel Bryan's emotional retirement speech, another performer landed himself in trouble by putting his hands on the boss. As Vince McMahon was walking back up the ramp, Titus O'Neil gave him an innocent shove after grabbing his arm. It was clearly little more than a friendly joke, but it ended in a suspension that was deemed very harsh by most, including the likes of Titus' close friend Batista. It's been reported that the suspension will last 60 days in total, which would mean the wrestler will miss WrestleMania 32. For a small joke, that's quite the severe punishment. It's been reported that McMahon wished to send a message to other talent with the move, reminding them to remain professional at all times. That goes against his reactions to the incident, as Vince laughed and pushed Titus back. Previously, O'Neil stated during interviews that he had a lot of respect for Vince McMahon. Similarly, Vince himself has been complimentary of Titus as a father on social media. It appears they had a positive relationship, so it does seem like O'Neil has been used to make an example to everyone else on the roster. That can't sit well with him, though. Why should he, the consummate company man and Dad of the Year, be used to make an example of to others who might be misbehaving?
