10 WWE Stars Who Should Have Been World Champion By Now

7. Aleister Black

Aleister Black is the total package - almost two decades of in-ring experience, along with an intimidating, eye-catching look and a promo style that demands all attention.

As Tommy End, he wrestled around the world between 2002 and 2016, however, a large part of his offence is informed by studying various martial arts during his formative years - kickboxing is particularly evident in his in-ring technique. Black is the best and most believable striker WWE currently have under contract.

After an impressive undefeated streak lasting almost a year was ended by interference from The Undisputed Era, Black destroyed their leader Adam Cole and soon targeted NXT Champion Andrade, successfully taking the title at TakeOver: Philadelphia.

Black’s solo success has varied on the main roster – from a squash match undefeated streak to a losing feud with Kevin Owens. After falling off the roof of Titan Towers during the men’s 2020 Money in the Bank match, he disappeared from our screens.

Black returned resurrected and rejuvenated via promo on 23 April 2021 episode of SmackDown. He is currently chasing the Intercontinental Championship, though his sights should be higher.
