10 WWE Stars Who Went From Undesirable To Undeniable
4. The Judgment Day
The single biggest success story of Triple H's year as Head of Creative is the stellar work he has done with the Judgment Day.
A year ago, they were a laughing stock of a stable. Headed up by a miscast Edge, and filled with aimless talents like Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, they were a busted flush. Nonsensically, they shot-gunned Edge out of the group to fill the void left by the injured Cody Rhodes and replaced him with Finn Balor - the man they had just defeated. It made little sense and it seemed like the group would continue to flounder.
What a difference a year and solid booking makes.
Now, they are not blowing smoke when they say 'The Judgment Day runs Raw.' The despicable quartet are the centrepiece of the show and it has elevated every single member of the group. For the first time in years, Balor is a main event concern and is warring with Seth Rollins over the World Heavyweight Championship. Damian Priest, off the back of his tremendous performance with Bad Bunny, is now 'Señor Money In The Bank' and at loggerheads with his leader.
Dominik Mysterio has graduated from irritating nepo-baby to...well, the biggest heel in wrestling and recently picked up his first singles title. And lastly, Rhea Ripley has been elevated to the face of the women's division and is garnering monster pops whenever she shows up.
This stable has worked and it will only get hotter as the tension grows.
