10 WWE Stars Who Will Miss WrestleMania 37

2. The Undertaker

There was a time when WrestleMania and The Undertaker went together better than cheese and bread. Long-term fans old enough to remember the character's glory days came to know 'Mania as his event; WWE's "Granddaddy Of Them All" belonged to 'The Deadman'. It was just that simple.

Those days are over.

'Taker announced his retirement via the Network's stunning 'Last Ride' docuseries, and it appears that his outrageous, over-the-top 'Boneyard Match' with AJ Styles at 'Mania 36 will be his last...at least for now. The caveat to any wrestling retirement is obviously a return, and the icon did say he finds it difficult to turn down Vince McMahon even when his body is screaming for a "no".

Nobody should rule out a comeback at some point, but it ain't gonna' happen in Tampa. 37 will be the second skipped WrestleMania in three years for The Undertaker. He missed 35, and hadn't skipped the show since 2000 before that.

We are entering a new era.
