10 WWE Stars You Didn't Know Started As Part Of The New Generation

3. Jeff Hardy

Although neither Hardy brother would receive a full-time contract with WWE until 1998, Jeff Hardy would make his first appearance on WWE programming in 1994 at the tender age of 17. Hardy was underage at the time and he and his trainer had to lie to WWE management so he could wrestling on the show. Wrestling in all white tights (which must be WWE's version of a white belt in karate), Jeff toiled away as a jobber, falling to everyone he stepped into the ring with. The biggest match Jeff Hardy had during the New Generation era was against the 1-2-3 Kid...in which Hardy was considered the underdog. Keep in mind that Sean Waltman was the ultimate jobber for much of his first run with WWE, and so jobbing to him was a bit like being the backup drummer in a notoriously terrible rock band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpzUmIQqD4U
