10 WWE Stomping Grounds Impulse Reactions

1. "Break The Internet"

The cripplingly awkward Tweet emerged from the official WWENetwork account just 26 minutes after the pay-per-view went off the air, as if everything beyond the image itself was scheduled hours ago once the finish of the main event had been finalised.

It was, again, WWE missing every mark by a wide margin.

Rollins' had managed to break it himself hours earlier with a pair of misguided musings on the industry at large, whilst Becky Lynch's talent in 280 characters helped do much for her metamorphosis into 'The Man' last summer. A year on, and it might be worth the company's newly-mandated power couple staying offline for a day or two.

This, to make the same joke absolutely every f*cker will ad infinitum, was not Good Sh*t - this was the result a mad old granda that lost his dream duo visual when John Cena and Nikki Bella split up a year ago. This was a billionaire who saw dollars the second he saw his top babyfaces necking on backstage. This is a ageing promoter who will chase their love for Randy & Liz dollars only to bin it off when it draws Trish Stratus & Carlito dimes.

These two have "broken the internet" plenty of times before. Here's hoping the internet doesn't break them.
