10 WWE Stomping Grounds Impulse Reactions

4. Roman Reigns Vs. Drew McIntyre

This was, by some distance, better than their WrestleMania match, and so it should have been - the live crowd had only sat through two hours of the event rather than what felt like around ten at the 'Show Of Shows'. It was not, however that much better than any given television match.

Shane McMahon - Shane f*cking McMahon, because who else deserves praise less than the omnipresent 'Money' at the moment? - helped tell the story whilst the fans snoozed on the wrestlers themselves. A bothersome little sh*thouse at ringside (how does he get in to character?), Shane got his from 'The Big Dog' right before all appeared lost for the former Shield member.

The clunky affair lumbered on as McMahon lay out on the floor, but the danger never really advanced from McIntyre alley-ooping Reigns as the Shane McMahon Show recommenced. A Coast To Coast earned the 'Scottish Psychopath' a good nearfall, but everything else felt as entirely definitive as Michael Cole's post-match comments implied. Which, think about it, is pretty f*cking s**t if so - Shane snuck that pinfall in Saudi Arabia but Drew couldn't manage the same feat three weeks later.

Is it now just all over? Is anything ever over? Is anybody over?
