As if 2002 didn't have enough nonsense with the gay wedding stuff on SmackDown, Raw fired back with some HLA. Not sure what that acronym means? Why, it stands for 'Hot Lesbian Action', of course.

In one of WWE's worst ever ratings ploys, Raw GM Eric Bischoff reasoned it was time to start seeing hot models (who were totally lesbians, dude) kiss and cavort inside the ring. On a weekly basis, this meant that fans were exposed to awkward non-wrestlers rolling around with even less integrity than the swimsuit babe Divas WWE touted on the regular roster.

At one point, WWE even released a HLA t-shirt. Pause to think about that, and you'll realise how preposterous the whole concept was. In the same year Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker bled buckets inside Hell In A Cell, WWE flaunted sexism like it was a bragging right.
