7. Lone Wolf

It can't be too long before WWEShop.com knock out a 'Baron Wasteland' shirt, such is their propensity for nonsensical slogans on any single item they can think to merchandise. It would certainly do a fine job of describing the character's current plight though, as 'The Lone Wolf' concluded what has to go down as the worst week of his career.

Bidding farewell to his golden ticket on the go-home edition of SmackDown Live!, Corbin's credibility went in the same direction as he was utterly crushed by Cena in the evening's opening bout.

Working a house show comedy match and utterly negating any backwards momentum Baron could have gained from Tuesday's deflating demotion, 'The Champ' chewed up his young foe and regurgitated the remains back on to the canvas with a joie de vivire not witnessed since his senseless destruction of the Nexus angle at this very show back in 2010.

As Corbin entered, a 'Where's Your Briefcase?' chant bubbled under the surface, resembling the '1-2-3' taunt that dogged Razor Ramon in the wake of his embarrassing loss to 'The Kid' on a 1993 edition of Monday Night Raw. Back then, it not only imbued Ramon with fresh momentum, but also helped characterise his diminutive frenemy.

Incapable of grasping such an opportunity, Cena quickly bulldozed it by conducting his usual 'Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks' chorus, then actively rubbed the audience's supposed apathy in Baron's face. Then he d*cked around with JBL's hat. Then he beat him clean and easily. End scene.
