10 WWE SummerSlam Hidden Gems You Need To Check Out

9. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit vs. Rhyno vs. Tajiri (2003)

There's likely a lot of WWE fans who don't even remember this one. Grossly overshadowed by matches such as Eric Bischoff vs. Shane McMahon, Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar and the main event 'Elimination Chamber' bout, this Fatal 4-Way was still enjoyable. All 4 men had been jousting over the United States Title on Smackdown before SummerSlam 2003, and the match ended up being a solid addition to the card. Obviously, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were the stars of the show. Thankfully however, both Rhyno and Tajiri helped the match motor along, and it was heartening to see both in such a lofty position. In 2003, the US Title had just returned to WWE screens, and Guerrero was the 'first' champion. Typically, multi-man matches in WWE are chaotic, and this was no exception. Even though these guys were only handed just over 10 minutes to strut their stuff, they pieced together an exciting spectacle. Of course, Guerrero and Benoit would go on to bigger and better things at WrestleMania XX, but this match showed they could be excellent regardless of their positioning on the card.
