8. The Hart Foundation vs. Demolition (1990)

By 1990, Demolition had changed. Bill 'Ax' Eadie was no longer a focal point of the team, and Brian 'Crush' Adams had largely been installed in his place. This newer incarnation of the unit wasn't quite as popular, but there were still hopes from the then-WWF that the team could be useful. They certainly were at SummerSlam 1990, providing an entertaining 2-Out-Of-3 Falls encounter opposite The Hart Foundation. As the heels, Demolition proved effective at drawing heat. Perhaps that can be better attributed to the popular Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart duo, as fans desperately wanted to see them bag the WWF Tag-Team Titles. That would wind up being the end result, as the Hart Foundation came from a fall down to win 2-1 overall. Demolition may have been coming to the end of their shelf life as an act, but this was a great swansong. Crush was never going to fill Eadie's boots, but even he played his part. There wasn't a lot to cheer about at SummerSlam '90 (Randy Savage and Dusty Rhodes went just over 2 minutes), but this tag bout is essential viewing.
