4. Steve Blackman vs. Shane McMahon (2000)

In terms of classic matches or even 'hidden gems', Steve Blackman didn't have all too many during his WWF/WWE career. Occasionally solid on the mid-card, Blackman was relatively bland as an overall performer. Awkward on the microphone, the guy found it difficult to really connect with fans. With that said, he did put on one of his better performances at SummerSlam 2000. There was a time when fans knew they were going to see something exciting any time Shane McMahon entered the ring. A definite risk-taker, Vince McMahon's only son was never adverse to putting his body through hell during matches. That was the case once more at SummerSlam 2000. Facing off for the Hardcore Title, Shane actually went into his SummerSlam match against Blackman as the champion. In effect, the entire bout was centered around one big spot. Climbing up the steel surround of the entrance way, McMahon plummeted to the floor following a barrage of Kendo Stick shots from Blackman. The stunt looked spectacular, and wouldn't be the last time Shane performed it. Even aside from the fall, there was enough drama and weapon shots to make this one worthwhile.
