10 WWE Superstars Fired In The Shortest Time

7. Marty Jannetty (3 Months)

Whenever the cards came up right for Marty Jannetty, he'd find a way to go bust - or busted, as the case often was.

The aging Rocker was surprisingly drafted back to WWE after years of exile in 2005, as part of Shawn Michaels' stonking WrestleMania 21 programme opposite Kurt Angle. Even more surprisingly, Jannetty, in spite of his troubled and well-documented personal issues, looked in the form of his life, putting on a twenty minute stormer with the Olympian.

Sadly, it was the same old story for Jannetty. So good was his unexpected comeback that WWE offered him a previously unthinkable contract after the Angle match. Within weeks, perhaps celebrating the good fortune, Jannetty was arrested for DUI. The unexpected return had ended almost as quickly as it had begun.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
