10 WWE Superstars Who Were Humiliated In Their Hometowns

4. Jim Ross Is Fired In Oklahoma City

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDoU5NPDoXM Back in 2011 when John Laurinaitis was running the show as (interim) General Manager of Monday Night Raw, he had his fair share of beef with many of the WWE superstars. But one guy in particular who John didn€™t care for was good ol€™ Jim Ross, and on the October 10th edition of Raw he made it clear that Raw no longer needed Jim Ross at the commentary table. Laurinaitis entered the ring, asked for some respect, and had Jim Ross enter the ring. He called Ross out on walking off on COO Triple H the previous week, and within seconds had Jim Ross fired from the company. Most people know what it€™s like to be fired. Usually it€™s done privately between a boss and an employee. Yet once again poor Jim had to go through the awkward and embarrassing process of being fired live in front of millions of people sitting at the arena and watching on televisions nationwide. Worst of it, he got fired right in front of all his fellow Oklahoma faithful, the very people who had given JR a standing ovation when he arrived at the show. The only person who was happy to see JR go was Michael Cole, and nobody liked Cole. Nobody.
