10 WWE Superstars John Cena Has ALREADY Ruined Since Going Part-Time

1. The Miz AND Maryse

Looking as affable a husband as he is a pro wrestler based on their work together, The Miz gets a second spot on the list alongside his wife for the way in which the pair gamely invested in a hiding to nothing at the 'Show Of Shows'.

The WrestleMania 33 showdown between the two couples was a programme in two parts, neither of which happened to be the actual match itself. Miz and Maryse were sensational spitting fire in their parodies of the vapid twosome at the top of the WWE tree, doing just about all the evocative legwork in an angle constructed to set up an in-ring marriage proposal from John to Nikki.

It was the Cena/Nikki celebration that made for a second act, leaving the match (and another p*ss easy win for 'Big Match John' over small-time Miz) as little more than a footnote for their pre-nuptial fireworks.

'The A Lister' is bulletproof in WWE at this point, trading the Intercontinental Title with Dean Ambrose either side of this contest so it was at least nowhere near another humbling burial. He continued to mimmick Cena for another week until an acceptable time had passed that we could all just move on with our lives. He's lucky to have had the chance.
