10 WWE Superstars Who Were Lucky Not To Be Released Today
6. Sin Cara (Hunico)
It's not a question of talent with Hunico, who is portraying Sin Cara. Should we call him Sin Cara 2? Whatever you want to call him doesn't matter. He's a talented performer that can have good matches with anybody, but it's obvious that the Sin Cara gimmick isn't working as well as WWE hoped it would. Earlier this year there were reports that they were going to end the gimmick following WWE's Scooby Doo movie release, but he's still around. Most recently he was seen teaming with Goldust in a losing effort. That's been a common theme for him. Any time he's out there he's usually losing. They could always go back to the Hunico gimmick with him, but it was so limited that it's unlikely he would get very far with it. He's definitely a guy that could be released at any time although like I said it's not like he's a bad wrestler. It's simply a matter of not having a role for him.
