10 WWE Superstars Who Were Lucky Not To Be Released Today
3. The Great Khali
It's only a matter of time for Great Khali to either retire as an active wrestler or for WWE to tell him that they've gone as far as they can with him. He's a limited performer that lacks mobility and at age 41 it's not like that is going to improve. There have also been reports that he's very highly paid like a main eventer even though he hasn't been close to that level for about five years now. His appeal is that he's an Indian wrestler. There aren't too many of them around. He's a big deal in his home country and they recently signed a new TV deal, so WWE may feel obligated to keep putting him on TV. While we have no idea when his contract is up, it wouldn't be a surprise if WWE released him sooner rather than later because at this point in his career he has nothing to offer. Can he do anything that we haven't seen before or would appeal to people? Nope. It might be time to wish Khali the best in his future endeavors.
