When it first leaked that NXTs Leo Kruger was being repackaged as a Russel Brand-alike party boy called Adam Rose, fans were outraged. Leo Kruger was one of the coolest, most unique stars on NXT. He was a terrifying South African hunter, with a captivating charisma and a great mix of speed and power within the ring. When he did redebut as Rose, fans were immediately enamoured but it wasnt long before the bloom was off the rose and fans were tired of Roses schtick. He never stopped being a good wrestler though, and when he gets the chance to go more than a few minutes, that talent shines through and he can put on a great match. Recently, he returned to NXT to team with Sami Zayn as part of the Tag Team Championship tournament to crown a number one contender, and you could see how happy he was to cut loose. An extended stay back in developmental is just what Rose needs to get back on his feet, and maybe bring Leo Kruger back from the dead because the Adam Rose gimmick is an obvious dead-end.
